While our our event coordinator Dave and his daughter Loryn spent the day pedalling their hearts out on the Tour Duchenne - a challenging ride from Threadbo to Manly to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Australia, a small contingent of Hunter British Ford Group members took a more relaxed option, a breakfast run to The Boatshed at Tea Gardens. Given how busy everyone is at this time of year with work related Christmas functions and the like it was good to see that a few members were able to get out and about with their cars. Unfortunately, I was not among them this time but Danny made sure he took some happy snaps for the history books.

With Danny leading the run, I'm sure the trip had a few interesting twists and turns and I look forward to reading about it in a future edition of the Sporty Note. We only have two more official club runs for 2012 - a Coffee and Cruise night to be hosted by the Bryant family on Friday the 7th of December and the twilight Xmas run to Blackalls Park on Saturday the 15th of December. Don't worry, I will send out the reminder emails as per usual. See you there!
